Existing Bathroom

We start by assessing the existing bathroom — evaluating the tub, tile, plumbing, and structure to plan the full scope of your remodel.

Step 2: Demolition and tile removal during bathroom remodel by Custom Bath and Tile

Demolition & Tear Out

All existing tile, fixtures, and damaged materials are removed — down to a clean, solid substrate.

Step 3: Waterproof backer board and moisture barrier installation during bathroom remodel by Custom Bath and Tile

Waterproofing & Backer Board

Cement backer board and a full waterproof membrane system are installed — the critical foundation for lasting tile.

Step 4: Tile work in progress with shower hardware installed during bathroom remodel by Custom Bath and Tile

Acrylic Tile & Hardware Install

Groutless Large-format acrylic tiles are set and aligned on all walls. Shower hardware, grab bars, and valve trim are mounted and tested.

Step 5: Completed bathroom remodel with final tile and finishing touches by Custom Bath and Tile

Final Finish & Handoff

Caulk lines perfected, and every detail inspected. We walk you through the finished bathroom before we're done.
